In our view, fighting poverty is most effectively done by enabling people to overcome poverty themselves.

Because the very poor lack the elementary means to take the first steps out of poverty, we  implement innovative programs with the aim to enable them to become Food Secure and to have some first Savings.
We do not work in the traditional way of fixed programs for a certain number of years. We commit ourselves for the long run, with a maximum flexiblity in the way we work and in the things that are needed, always adjusting to the very rapidly changing environment.

Our own social enterprise

Through our social entreprise in Uganda we support farmers and households through a number of AgroService Centers where we advice and support farmers and households by selling reliable inputs to enhance their homeproduction, to cultivate more nutricious food and to enable them to do their first Savings.
The unique thing is that we do not only advice farmers, but we can also immediately provide them the goods they need.

Investments

In our view, increasing economic development is the best way to get out of instability. That's why we invest in SME's in the developing countries and in investment-funds that do the same.

Meanwhile, IT is an inseparable part of life. It should also provide tools for the development sector to monitor results and improve accountability. That's why we seek to invest in innovative applications for the developing world.

Fighting Poverty is a long way to go. Educating a child is investing in the eradication of poverty in the long run.
